Alternate Semester Project

Plant Breeding Methods (CS, GN, HS 741)

If you would prefer, you may do a history of plant breeding instead of the crop breeding project. The format and style should be like the history outline in lecture 1, with at least 20 items listed and explained that are not on the handout. Preferably, the dates should be more recent than the latest one on the handout.

The difficult part of this assignment is determining which events are significant to plant breeding since the latest events are from our lifetime, and have not had time to cause major changes yet.

Set up your report in the same way as the history section, using that format, but include a full description of each event in a paragraph below each item. In a second paragraph, put your justification for including the event.
